W. Michigan uses onside kick to deliver a scholarship (Video)
Western Michigan and coach P.J. Fleck deserve a ton of points for creativity on this one.
The Broncos used an onside kick to give walk-on Trevor Sweeney a scholarship. How so? Watch the video:

It's a damn good thing that Sweeney got to the ball on the second attempt. Onside kicks are notoriously hard to control and it skipped away from him at first. The moment might have gotten lost had he not been able to get back to the football.
He still initially seemed oblivious to the paper on the ball though. And then when he realized what was happening, the entire team broke into celebration.
Well done, Western Michigan.
